Teachers are key to the formation of our human resources---Bia West MP

Member of Parliament (MP) for Bia West, Dr.  Augustine Tawiah has said teachers are key to the formation of the Ghanaian human resources. 

According to the Bia West lawmaker, all the interventions in our colleges of education are good and Ghanaians must work together for our schools to become a better communities that, children learn.

“Good infrastructure, teaching learning materials that are critical to the students well being and transform our education”.

Dr.  Augustine Tawiah who established Bia Lamp Light College of Education fifteen years ago, has revealed in an interview that he is happy the institution is part of forty-six private accredited institutions functioning in the country. 
   
As a former Executive Secretary of the National Teaching Council, he added that he had put together preparatory work, at the national inspector board of schools and had seen a lot of good and bad schools. 

He pointed out that his school was good enough to him to attend in his village, as he noticed that teachers in the community were not on top in so many ways so he decided to build, a center for teacher professional development.  

As of November 2016, teachers with Masters Degree had been recruited, to train graduates who graduated with Diploma in teaching.
